Metro Schools have announced a plan to begin blended instruction November 2, returning to an 8:00am-2:30pm daily schedule. Students will be split into cohorts based on last name and will participate in classes onsite two days a week and at home three days a week as follows:
- Last Name A-L: On site Monday/Tuesday, virtual Wednesday-Friday
- Last Name M-Z: Virtual Monday-Wednesday, on site Thursday/Friday
- Wednesdays will be used for thorough cleaning between groups.
Families who prefer to have their students continue with all virtual instruction will be given that option for the remainder of fall semester.
The Columbus, Hilliard and South-Western school districts are expected to resume bus service in November for Metro students who registered for transportation.
